We may ask for your Amazon KDP email address, to prevent multiple account registrations and to check the status of your trial periods.

• Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research and legal purposes.
• Details of transactions you carry out through our Website and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Website, including account holder name, bank name, account number, and currency of account for taxation reasons, including Tax ID (US: TIN: SSIN/EIN), citizenship, and country of residence

In addition, with your consent, we may collect Amazon KDP Dashboard Cookies to enable us to download sales reports and analyze changes in your sales activity.

You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") on public areas of the Website, or transmitted to other users of the Website or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Website with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information: 

• Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly (especially if your turn off essential and functionality cookies).
• Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out for all third parties except Prime Corporate Services, by either logging into your User dashboard and visiting your profile settings page or interacting with our chatbot, which is available by clicking on the chatbot icon on the bottom right of our website. Please note that opting out of communication with Prime Corporate Services will make you ineligible for the 'Tax Savings Secrets' bonus offered as part of the course. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a purchase, refund requests, registration, service experience or other transactions.

Examples of third parties with whom we may work that use targeting or advertising cookies to deliver ads include:

Publishing.com materials may contain pixels which provide us and third parties with analytics regarding how website visitors interact with video content, audiovisual content, or content of a like nature. Video content is provided to enhance the user experience. You understand that your Personal Information, including your video viewing history, may be processed according to this Privacy Policy.

Data Integrity

Publishing.com will only collect and retain personal data which is relevant to the purposes for which the data is collected. We will not use your data in a way that is incompatible with these purposes unless such use has been subsequently authorized by you. We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. We may occasionally contact you to verify that your data is still accurate and current. 

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by either logging into your User dashboard and visiting your profile settings page or interacting with our chatbot, which is available by clicking on the chatbot icon on the bottom right of our website.

You may also call us at 737-727-2100, or send us an email at support@publishing.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users.

Your State Privacy Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information. California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. As of the time this Privacy Policy was last updated, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide their state residents with rights to:

• Access and delete certain personal information.
• Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information's nature processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).
• Data portability.

We must verify your identity before responding to your request. We do this by asking you to provide information that we can match against information we may have about you already. We may need to follow up with you to request more information to verify your identity. We will not use Personal Information we collect in connection with verifying or responding to your request for any purpose other than responding to your request.

We may have a reason under the law why we do not have to comply with your request, or why we may comply with it in a more limited way than you anticipated. If we do, we will explain that to you in our response. If you are entitled to appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request, you must follow the process set forth in the notice of denial.  

Sale of Personal Information

To personalize our ads and marketing experiences, we work with advertising and analytics partners and social media sites. These partnerships may be considered a "sale" under Colorado law, even when no money exchanges hands.

The Personal Information we might "sell" includes your identifiers, online activity information, and customer records. When you login to your account on a web page or interact with Publishing.com materials where cookies are present, that may be considered a "sale" of your Personal Information. We do not sell the personal data of children under the age of 18.

How we respond to do not track signals

The "Do Not Track" ("DNT") privacy preference is an option that may be made in some web browsers allowing you to opt-out of tracking by websites and online services. At this time, global standard DNT technology is not yet finalized and not all browsers support DNT. We therefore do not recognize DNT signals and do not respond to them.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Publishing.com is the data controller for processing Personal Information provided to us through the Website. Our office is as set forth in the Contact Information section below.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
